Trim Levels (Exterior)
There are three trims available for the 2022 Cadillac XT5: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The XT5 also offers several packages if you opt for the Premium Luxury or Sport Trims: Platinum package, Technology package, Smart Towing package, and Driver Assist package. Standard features include a power liftgate, 18-inch wheels, and LED headlights. The Premium Luxury trim will give you automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors, and a hands-free liftgate. Moving up to either the Sport trim or the Platinum package will get you a wheel upgrade in the form of 20-inch wheels.
Engine (Power)
The base engine is an impressive 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine laying down 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque for both the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. The standard engine for the Sport, and an option for the Premium Luxury trim, is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine churning out 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of choice for both engines is a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The standard powertrain for the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims is a front-wheel-drive system with an all-wheel-drive system as standard for the Sport and an available option for the other two trims. Opting for the top-of-the-line Sport version will grant you access to several additional performance-enhancing features like upgraded Brembo brakes, a sport-tuned all-wheel-drive system, sport suspension with adaptive dampers, and a heavy-duty cooling system. For the Premium Luxury trim, you can also choose a Smart Towing package which adds a seven-pin wiring harness to wire a trailer, a heavy-duty cooling system, and a hitch guidance camera system.

Get behind the wheel of the 2022 Cadillac XT5, and plush amenities greet you at every turn. With the Luxury trim, you will get remote engine start, proximity keyless entry and push-button start, heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, and an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system driving an eight-speaker Bose audio system integrated with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Upgrading to the Premium Luxury trim, you will get even more luxurious features such as leather upholstery, memory settings for the driver's seat, heated steering wheel, power-adjustable, interior ambient lighting, and wireless charging pad.
