Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 CT5 comes in Sport, Premium Luxury, and Luxury trim levels. The base Luxury trim has a sculpted hood, a large upper grille with the Cadillac symbol in the middle, a low profile, a narrow upper grille, automatic headlights, and sculpted sides. You'll also get heated manually folding side mirrors with turn signals, dual exhaust, rain-sensing windshield wipers, all-season tires, solar glass, 18-inch wheels, and active grille shutters.
With all trim levels, you can add 20-inch wheels and a power sunroof. The Premium Luxury and Sport come with auto-dimming side mirrors and cornering headlights that turn when you move the wheel for better visibility. With the Luxury and Premium Luxury, you can choose a rear spoiler.
Engine (Power)
The CT5 uses a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that gives 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It's standard with all trim levels. With the Premium Luxury, you can choose a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V-6 that generates 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Both engines have a 10-speed automatic transmission, and an engine stop-and-start system shuts off the motor automatically when you come to a complete stop. Then, it reactivates when you use the accelerator, helping save fuel and keeping accessories like the air conditioner on.
Performance
This car has a quiet, responsive ride, power steering, an independent suspension, anti-lock brakes, and an electronic parking brake. It gets 23 mpg in city traffic and 33 mpg on the highway. Driving modes include custom, snow/ice, tour, and sport. With all trims, an engine block heater is optional. With the Sport, you can add Brembo V performance front brakes, a performance suspension, and Magnetic Ride Control that can adjust to changing road conditions every 5 milliseconds.
Interior
With all trim levels, standard features include Bluetooth, two 12-volt power outlets, a cabin air filter, a 10-inch touchscreen, a compass, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, three USB ports, cruise controls for the steering wheel, keyless entry, and Android Auto. You'll also get dual-zone climate control and a nine-speaker sound system. You can add navigation, a cargo net, a collapsible cargo organizer, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a 15-speaker Bose audio system.
The Premium Luxury and the Sport have adaptive cruise control, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and memory settings for the steering wheel, side mirrors, and driver's seat. You can add a 12-inch driver instrument cluster, a cabin air ionizer, ventilated front seats, and a head-up display.
Safety Features
The 2023 Cadillac CT5 comes with a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, eight air bags, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assistance, and blind spot monitoring.
