The only notable difference is that the regular Escalade has a slightly higher maximum towing capacity, depending on installed features and drivetrain. The regular cab Escalade offers a maximum towing capacity of 8,200 pounds in 2WD and 8,000 in 4WD, while the ESV offers maximums of 8,100 pounds in 2WD and 7,900 pounds in 4WD.
